MN State Fair Ribbon

The first picture was taken at the fair.  Color not too good but you can still see the 4 ribbons hanging on the quilt.   Client quilt and quilting this was fun.  The other 4 pictures show the true color and some closer up of the quilting.

Ribboned at MN Quilt Show

A clients quilts entered into the MN Quilt Show took a 2nd place ribbon.  How fun for us! Congratulations Julie.

T-Shirt Quilt for Graduate

A T-Shirt for graduation.  Not only did the quilting but the piecing as well.  Been awhile since I had made any t-shirt quilt and have another one I'm also starting on.

Beautiful Bright Batik Quilt

What a treat to quilt this batik quilt.  The bright colors are awesome.  Really didn't want it to go home.

Notice a pattern to the quilting design on these quilts.  I am always amazed at how one of my clients uses simple patterns to let her piecing/fabrics stand on their own.  I love how they look.  This is just a little sample of her quilts.

A fun quilt to make anyone's day bring a smile! 

Hello from snowy MN and the townhouse area in which we live.  Somewhere from 10-11 inches of snow is my guess.    It's actually beautiful out there as long as one doesn't have to travel too far today.
Other parts of the state had larger amounts of snowfall.

A beautiful day with 15 year old grandson Jack.  He's the most delightful young man and a pleasure to be with.  We did lunch at Champs and shopping afterwards. 

Ken not so good tonight.  Had another one of his sweating like crazy episodes and that follows with the chills and feeling of not so good and becoming very tired. 

Cold weather coming in again.  Really cold........brrrrrrrrrrr

 

 

An applique quilt finished.  Beautifully hand turned applique done by a wonderful piecer.
